
Child and Youth Studies provides a broadly based interdisciplinary approach that considers children and youth within the multiple context of culture; the family, the school, the peer group, the community as well as the economy and the law.
The subject field builds a creative environment for studying children’s and young people’s living conditions and socialization. A main characteristic of the research at the department of Child and Youth Studies will be on children’s and young peoples own perspectives on their lives.
