An invitation to learn more regarding The Ombudsman for Children in Sweden.

The Ombudsman for Children in Sweden is a government agency tasked with representing children regarding their rights and interests on the basis of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). During the afternoon you will learn more about the tasks and the activities carried out by the Ombudsman for Children. This is of special interest since the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child  will become part of the national law in Sweden the year 2020. An afternoon to learn and be inspired.

The study visit will be held in English and is open for local students, alumni as well as for exchange students within the subject fields of teacher education and pedagogical sciences.

En inbjudan för att ta del av BO:s verksamhet och uppdrag i Sverige. Extra intressant nu när Barnkonventionen blir lag 2020. En eftermiddag att lära och inspireras.Studiebesöket sker på engelska tillsammans med lokala studenter, alumner och inresande utbytesstudenter inom lärarutbildning och pedagogik. Place: The Swedish institute of Childrens books (SBI), Odengatan 61, Stockholm.

Theme - Children´s Literature.

Welcome to an afternoon together with local students from the teacher education programs at Stockholm University, alumni and coworkers at the Department of Child and Youth Studies at Stockholm University, as well as exchange students within teacher education/educational sciences.
You are all invited to this study visit where you will meat Lillemor Torstensson, responsible for information, communication and business at the Swedish Institute for Children’s Books (SBI). During the study visit there will also be an opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences regarding children’s literature, working with children and reading, and more.
