How to reach the Department

The department of Child and Youth Studies is situated beside lake Brunnsviken, on the west side of Roslagsvägen in the area called 'Frescati Hage'. Visiting addresses are Frescati Hagväg 16 B, 20 and 24, campus area Frescati Hage. Please note that the Department of Child and Youth Studies is not located on the main campus of Stockholm University.

The Centre for the Studies of Children's Culture is situated in Södra huset (light-blue multi-storey building), building D, floor 8, room D876, Campus Frescati.

Getting to Stockholm University

Opening hours Monday-Fridag 07:30-17:00.

By bus

Take bus number 50 from 'Odenplan' or number 670 from 'Tekniska högskolan' to 'Universitetet södra'.
Coming from the north, you can take bus 670 or 680 from 'Danderyds sjukhus' to 'Universitetet södra'. Tickets must be bought before travel. 

By subway

You can travel by the metro (underground/tube) from the Central station in Stockholm 'T-centralen'. Take the red line northbound to 'Mörby Centrum' and get off at the station 'Universitetet' (The University).

Take a walk, or go by bus number 50 to 'Universitetet södra'.

By train Roslagsbanan

Get off at the station 'Universitetet'.

Tickets for public transport can be bought from newsagents as well as from SL (Stockholms lokaltrafik) ticket offices. See SL’s travel page for more information.
