New database: Factiva – access to news and newspapers

Factiva combines over 32,000 sources to give students and faculty access to news content from 200 countries, including Sweden. Many newspapers are included.

Publish open access with the Royal Society

The library has entered an Open Access Membership agreement with the Royal Society. This means that all researchers at Stockholm University are entitled to 25% discount from the article processing charges (APCs) when publishing open access with the Royal Society. When publishing in the society’s full open access journals, Open Biology and Royal Society Open Science, there will be no charges for the authors.
Sweden cancels agreement with Elsevier
