Child and Youth Studies at Stockholm University

The Department of Child and Youth Studies was launched on the 1st of January, 2008, as a consequence of the fusion between Stockholm University and Stockholm Institute of Education. The aims of the research of this department is to provide a broadly based interdisciplinary research approach that considers children and youth within the multiple context of culture; the family, the school, the peer group, the community as well as the economy and the law.
